She was born in Detroit, Michigan, United States but at the age of 2, she moved back with her family to Bangalore, Karnataka, India. When Sree Leela was 16 years old, a director came to know about her through Instagram and was very impressed and cast her in his Kannada film “Kiss” which released in 2019.
